I sleep in late, can’t seem to start the day
Feels like the cold weather freezes my brain
I know that I’m so lucky I have a hand to hold in the night
Sometimes I cry, I feel so happy from all the gifts that don’t go under a tree
My dad has his share of bad days, but he’s got my mum and they’re okay
I think about them everyday
And when they think of me I hope they know that I’m grateful

And when I go outside after the snow has fallen on the ground, there’s always people gathered round.
